About this course

The course introduces English through alphabet and phonics work, simple sentence writing, reading straightforward texts, and supported speaking and listening practice. Learners work towards communicating basic information about familiar people, places and everyday matters.

This course is intended for ESOL learners with no English who plan to live permanently in the UK and are working or actively seeking work there. Regular class attendance, participation in class work and completing homework are part of the course.
