About this course

This family learning course develops practical English for everyday life and work. Learners practise reading signs, instructions and simple forms, then build written language through letters, words, short sentences and basic personal information. Speaking activities cover introductions, daily routines, likes and dislikes, and simple work-related conversations. The course also introduces numbers, postcodes and digital tools such as Google Maps for planning journeys. Tutor support and self-paced activities are part of the learning format.
