About this course

The course develops basic English through situations connected with daily life and work. Learners practise reading signs, instructions and simple forms, then write letters, words, short sentences and personal information such as an address or phone number. Speaking activities cover introductions, daily routines and simple work-related topics. Learners also work with numbers, postcodes and a phone-based activity using Google Maps to plan journeys. Tutor support is provided, with activities completed at each learner’s own pace.
