About this course
The course develops practical writing for everyday life, work and study. Participants practise producing messages, emails, notes, forms and short texts for different purposes, following models where appropriate. Teaching focuses on clear sentence construction, punctuation, spelling and organising ideas. Learners also work with adjectives, linking words, time phrases, structure and tone to make information easier to understand. The course includes preparation for the Ascentis Entry 2 Writing qualification and its range of writing tasks.
