ESOL writing qualification (entry 2)

About this course

The course develops written English through tasks based on everyday situations, including completing forms, writing messages and emails, and producing short texts for different purposes. Learners practise building simple sentences, applying punctuation and spelling rules, and organising ideas with linking words and time phrases. Activities also cover adding descriptive detail with adjectives and choosing an appropriate structure and tone. Model texts are used to guide writing, and the course prepares learners for the Ascentis Entry 2 Writing qualification.
