ESOL writing qualification (level 1)

About this course

The course develops writing for a range of formal and informal purposes, including job applications, workplace emails, reports, letters, messages and online forms. Learners work on planning and organising information with paragraphs, headings and bullet points, while improving grammar, vocabulary, spelling and punctuation. Activities also cover adapting tone and style for different audiences and using digital tools such as document typing, spellcheck and editing functions. The course prepares learners for the Ascentis Level 1 Writing qualification.
