ESOL writing qualification (level 1)

About this course

The course covers writing for practical situations, including job applications, forms, workplace emails, reports, formal letters, messages and online communication. Participants develop ways to plan and structure texts, choose suitable language for different audiences, and improve grammar, punctuation, spelling and vocabulary. Digital writing is also included, with practice typing documents, completing online forms and using spellcheck and editing tools. The course prepares learners for the Ascentis Level 1 Writing qualification.
