About this course

This course develops existing Excel knowledge through demonstrations, walkthroughs and computer-based exercises. Learners practise navigating worksheets, working with cells, rows and columns, applying formats to different types of data, and carrying out basic calculations with formulas. The course also introduces spreadsheet presentation through basic charts and graphs. Learning is reinforced through realistic data scenarios, discussions, pair and group work, spreadsheet tasks and mini projects, with tutor feedback and peer support rather than formal exams.

Is this course right for you?
