About this course
This course develops digital skills across five everyday areas: using devices and settings, creating and editing digital content, communicating online, accessing services and completing transactions, and protecting personal information. Learning is framed around practical situations such as writing a letter, updating a CV, joining a video call and booking an appointment. Participants also cover phishing, digital footprints and safe information sharing. The course leads to Gateway Qualifications’ Essential Digital Skills Qualification at entry 3, with an online exam at the end.
