About this course

The course introduces essential digital skills through tutor-led demonstrations, guided walkthroughs and practical tasks. Learners work with Microsoft 365 tools to create, save, print and edit documents, using features such as spellcheck, images, tables, symbols, shapes, borders, WordArt, headers and footers. Practical activities include planning a basic document, presenting information clearly and building a personal budget sheet. Learners compile a portfolio of digital tasks, supported by worksheets, templates, tutor observation, feedback and opportunities for group collaboration.
