About this course

Participants make drawings within a changing sensory setting shaped by curated props, lighting and rhythmic sound. The course focuses on an imaginative studio experience for artists, creatives and image-makers, with the environment providing stimulus for drawing rather than a conventional fixed subject. Beginners and more experienced participants are welcome.

Before you go

• Easels, drawing boards, charcoal, newsprint and masking tape are provided in the studio.
• Cartridge and watercolour paper are provided in the studio.
• Participants may bring additional personal materials, such as pencils, Conté crayons, pastels, ink pens, coloured pencils, erasers, a sharpener or a sketchbook.
• A full suggested materials list is provided one week before the course begins.
