About this course
The course treats figure drawing as an investigative process, with learners revisiting poses and developing drawings through observation and revision. Sessions combine short and sustained poses, allowing attention to shift between proportion, structure, movement, scale and composition. Individual guidance helps participants adapt their methods and make more deliberate choices about emphasis and expression. Learners also have opportunities to discuss their intentions and assess how effectively their drawings communicate the qualities of a pose.
