About this course
The course surveys three printmaking approaches: monoprinting by hand and press, making and printing a simple lino relief block, and mono-screenprinting with pre-developed photographic screens. Demonstrations are combined with practical exercises, allowing participants to produce prints while being introduced to safe studio practice and press use. Teaching includes hand-outs, group discussion, and both group and individual advice and feedback.

Is this course right for you?
The course is intended for complete beginners and does not assume prior printmaking experience. Participants should be able to follow simple written and verbal instructions used in demonstrations, hand-outs and health and safety guidance. The teaching combines practical individual work with group discussion and shared activities.
