About this course
Participants explore sculpture at small, medium and large scales using materials including clay, Sculpey, Air Dough, Styrofoam and papier mâché. The course introduces casting with rubber, plaster and Alginate, alongside techniques for finishing completed pieces with paint. Teaching combines practical demonstrations, technical videos and interactive studio work. Ongoing assessment provides constructive feedback during sessions, while Google Classroom contains contextual references and extension tasks. Participants are also encouraged to use visual research, with resources provided to support this.
