Exploring: photographing your world (intermediate)

About this course

Participants use streets, markets, journeys, meeting places and daily routines as subjects for photography. The course examines how framing, timing and viewpoint can communicate atmosphere, meaning and a sense of place beyond straightforward documentation. Learners review their images, considering composition, people, movement, backgrounds and ethical questions when photographing in public spaces. They also select, edit and sequence photographs into a short photo story with a clear narrative or theme. Both smartphones and cameras can be used.
