About this course

The course examines London street fashion through research activities, visits to fashion hotspots and vintage retailers, and street-style photography. Participants develop ideas through concept building, illustration and translating 2D designs into 3D outcomes, alongside hand-making, garment construction, customisation, upcycling and textile print techniques. Daily tasks combine practical fashion design with image-making and styling. The course also includes guidance on developing a portfolio, preparing applications and considering further study in Further or Higher Education.
