About this course
The course develops a fashion portfolio through visual research, drawing, experimentation, idea development and presentation. Stage 1 establishes foundations in drawing and visual communication, while later stages focus on portfolio preparation and presentation, including layout, colour rendering, contextual research and written communication. Teaching combines directed tasks, independent study and weekly one-to-one tuition. Participants identify their own objectives, such as strengthening research, drawing or presentation skills, and produce work intended to support applications to fashion-related study or employment.
