About this course
The course focuses on producing polished fashion portraits for artistic or commercial portfolios. Sessions examine equipment and lighting, editorial style, interpreting a brief, and the considerations involved in working with a model. Teaching takes place on location through practical advice and guided photography activities. Participants also consider what a picture editor looks for and how to plan and develop a fashion portfolio.

The course is labelled Improver, suggesting it is intended for photographers developing beyond fundamental camera techniques. A good knowledge of manual camera settings is strongly advised, particularly aperture, shutter speed and ISO.
