About this course

The course examines how existing fashion design work can be selected, organised and presented as a coherent portfolio. Participants review their current work, identify areas for development and may produce additional material to strengthen the overall presentation. Teaching combines individual tutorials, which focus on tailoring the portfolio to each participant’s work, with group workshops for discussing ideas and reviewing work alongside other learners. Attention is also given to communicating fashion design work clearly for applications to courses, internships or jobs.

What you'll learn

  • Structure a fashion design portfolio
  • Select and organise existing work for presentation
  • Identify areas where a portfolio could be developed or expanded
  • Communicate fashion design work clearly to support applications
