About this course

The course develops foundational French for everyday communication. Learners practise introducing themselves and others, asking and answering basic questions, sharing personal information, discussing nationalities and languages, expressing preferences, and giving information about events. Lessons are taught primarily in French and use interactive formats including group discussions, role-plays and practical exercises. The course also provides lesson notes, study tips and additional learning resources, with progression based on participation and self-study rather than formal tests.
