About this course

This workshop explores three German festive bakes. Participants will prepare a poppy seed stollen using enriched dough and practise plaiting techniques, then make Linzer cookies from a traditional shortbread-style mixture with jam filling. The class also covers Pfeffernüsse, small spiced biscuits with a soft, chewy texture. The recipes introduce different approaches to enriched bread, shaped biscuits and spiced baking.
