About this course
The course explores how ideas can be communicated through film, from developing a concept to presenting and uploading finished work. Learners work collaboratively while building filmmaking, photographic, writing, editing and presentation skills. Teaching includes demonstrations of editing techniques, which participants can apply to footage shot during the course or to material they have already made. Discussion of different media and art forms supports the development of a film portfolio containing selected sequences and shots.

The course is intended for aspiring film or content makers at any level, including those without previous experience. Participation involves collaborative filmmaking and developing either new footage or existing material for presentation.
