An all-levels studio course exploring drawing and painting through dry and fluid media, demonstrations, individual practice and group critique.
About this course
The course introduces drawing and painting techniques using pencil, charcoal, coloured pencils, oils and acrylics. Learners work from fluffy toys to investigate texture, composition and visual expression, while also studying the approaches of different artists. Teaching combines tutor demonstrations, guided studio practice, individual mentoring and group discussion. Learners receive ongoing verbal and practical feedback, develop personal projects and review their artistic choices through individual and group critiques.
