About this course
The course develops basic computer use through everyday digital tasks. Participants will type, edit and save short documents, send and receive emails, and search online for practical information such as travel directions or local opening times. It also introduces using a smartphone to download and open useful apps, including messaging, maps and banking applications. File organisation is covered so that saved documents can be located more easily. The course prepares participants to progress to entry 2 digital skills study.
