About this course

The course introduces intaglio printmaking progressively, beginning with drypoint before moving on to etching and aquatint. Demonstrations explain the processes and the distinction between non-acidic and acidic techniques. Learners develop their own work using source material such as drawings or photographs, with one-to-one feedback focused on their individual strengths and interests. The course takes place in an intaglio printmaking studio with specialist facilities.
