About this course
Learners develop a set flamenco choreography suitable for beginners, working on posture, arm placement, footwork, rhythm and continuous movement. Sessions also address performance awareness, including spacing, projection, timing and responding to musical cues from live guitar. Teaching combines repetition, technique refinement and rehearsal, with attention to how flamenco communicates emotion and story on stage. The course prepares learners to perform the choreography in an informal or public end-of-year show.
