Food and Wine Pairing Course

About this course

The course examines how flavours in food and wine interact, using a short wine lecture followed by guided tasting. Participants sample wines alongside canapés including blinis, crostini, scallops, chicken yakitori and pâtisserie items, considering how different combinations affect the palate. The session also explores how to plan a canapé menu that works with selected wines. It is taught through culinary demonstration, explanation and tasting, with examples spanning seafood, vegetables, meat and chocolate-based dishes.
