About this course
The course examines found footage filmmaking as a historical, cinematic and artistic practice, including its stylistic approaches and ethical considerations. Participants analyse film examples in class and write about their observations before applying the ideas covered to an original short film or sequence. Practical and artistic support is provided as the project is developed outside class. The course concludes with a group discussion and screening of the resulting work.
