About this course

The course combines practical acting exercises with basic theory. Participants explore techniques associated with different theatre practitioners, including breath, voice, movement, gaze, levels and resistance, then apply them through drama games, improvisation and devising projects. Work takes place individually, in pairs and in groups, with opportunities to interpret characters, use scripted material and perform for an audience. Feedback, peer review, self-assessment, a learner diary and a personal learning plan are used to support reflection throughout the course.
