Foundational Physics for Beginners

An interactive beginner course covering core physics concepts, introductory problem-solving, scientific data and measurement uncertainty.
About this course
The course introduces the principles used to describe matter, energy and motion, with attention to how physics applies to natural and engineered systems. Learners will work through introductory problems, consider real-world applications and examine experimental data, including the role of measurement uncertainty. Teaching combines interactive lectures with question-and-answer sessions and class discussions. The course also focuses on scientific reasoning and quantitative approaches to analysing physical systems.
