About this course
The course develops communication in French through personal and social discussions, reactions to authentic spoken material, and exchanges of ideas. Learners will explore social media, false advertising, complaints and online reviews, alongside cultural topics including Stromae and strikes in France. Teaching uses spoken interaction, pair and group work, role plays, games, presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual resources. Language work focuses on expressing agreement, disagreement, opinions and feelings, with practice in the indicative, present subjunctive and double object pronouns.

Is this course right for you?
This course is designed for learners working at French B1 level. It is intended for those who have studied French recently for at least three years or completed French 3 Lower: Module 1. Participation includes spoken interaction, pair and group activities, role plays and games.
- Learners should be able to discuss the past using several past tenses.
- The course assumes some ability to express opinions and personal tastes in French.
- Learners should be able to use pronouns and construct more complex sentences with increasing accuracy.

- The course is based on Entre Nous 3, Units 4 and 5. The provider recommends waiting until after the first class before buying the coursebook.
