About this course
The course develops spoken French through personal exchanges, social discussions and responses to authentic interviews, conversations and short reports. Pair work, group activities, role plays and games provide opportunities to interact and express opinions. Topics include cinema, education, information and social trends in the French-speaking world, alongside cultural material on Paris through film and Daniel Pennac. Language work covers the relative pronoun dont, the present subjunctive for wishes, reported speech, indirect questions and the passive voice.

Is this course right for you?
This course is intended for intermediate French learners who have studied the language recently for at least three years or completed French 3 Lower: Module 2. Learners should already be able to express opinions and feelings using more complex sentence structures. Participation involves regular spoken interaction with others.
