About this course
This taster introduces the style of an intermediate French class through spoken communication. Participants discuss their reasons for learning French, previous study and future plans, with activities including pair and group work, role plays and language games. Presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual resources support the classroom work. The emphasis is on using French in conversation and experiencing the format of a higher-level class.

The course is intended for learners who have studied French for three to four years recently or completed an A-level some time ago. It may suit people returning to French who want to experience an intermediate class, with participation centred on spoken interaction in pairs and groups.
