About this course
This taster introduces the spoken focus of an upper-intermediate French class. Learners discuss their reasons for studying French, previous learning experiences and plans for continuing their studies, while beginning to converse in French again. Teaching is based on spoken interaction and communication, with pair work, group work, role plays and games. Presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual material are used to support the class.

Is this course right for you?
The course is intended for learners at Upper Intermediate (B2) level who have studied French for four to five years recently or completed an A-level some time ago. It is particularly suited to people returning to French study. Participation centres on spoken interaction with other learners.
- Previous French study is expected, including substantial recent study or an A-level taken some time ago.
- The class includes pair work, group work and role plays, alongside other spoken activities.
