About this course
This course consolidates advanced French through contextual grammar revision, including past tenses, the subjunctive, conditional forms and prepositions, alongside pronunciation work. Lessons explore cinema, customs and traditions, science and technology, art, literature, social issues and current affairs. Teaching centres on spoken communication, with pair and group activities, role plays, games, presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual resources. Learners practise discussing and debating topics, reading newspapers and short stories, and expressing themselves with greater accuracy. Homework is highly recommended for consolidation.
