French Language for Travel

About this course

This course focuses on French used in common travel situations, including greetings, hotel interactions, cafés and restaurants, shopping, directions, transport and unexpected problems. Learners practise polite requests, everyday etiquette and service interactions relevant to France and other French-speaking destinations. Teaching combines guided speaking tasks, mini role-plays and realistic scenarios. The course also introduces high-frequency vocabulary, survival phrases, pronunciation practice and strategies such as rephrasing, clarification and buying time when a word is missing.
