About this course

Lessons are primarily conducted in French and use group work, role-plays and other interactive activities to practise communication. The course develops listening, speaking, reading and writing through situations involving consumer products and services, including describing features, expressing preferences and making purchases. Learners also explore consumption in French daily life and work with grammatical structures for place, quantity, description, function and purpose. Progression is supported through class participation and self-study, without formal tests.

Is this course right for you?

This course is intended for learners at pre-intermediate French level (A2+) who have already been studying French. The provider recommends previous study at French Level 9 or a course totalling at least 108 class hours. Lessons involve spoken communication, group work and role-plays, with French used as the main classroom language.

• Learners uncertain about their level are advised to take a placement test.
• Progression is based on class participation and self-study rather than formal tests.
