French Level 13 | Evenings

About this course

This course develops French communication through lessons taught primarily in French, with group work, role-plays and activities covering listening, speaking, reading and writing. Learners discuss leisure, entertainment and cultural events, exchange views on artistic works, and practise describing experiences in greater detail. The course also introduces language for writing and discussing reviews, explaining event plans and delivering presentations. Grammar work includes adverbs, exclamative phrases and relative pronouns. Progression is based on class participation and self-study rather than formal tests.

Is this course right for you?

The course is intended for pre-intermediate learners at around A2+, meaning they are developing beyond the earliest stages of French. Previous study of French Level 12 or around 144 class hours is recommended, and a placement test is suggested if the level is uncertain. Lessons involve spoken communication, group work and role-plays.
