About this course
Lessons develop listening, speaking, reading and writing through spoken communication, group work and role-plays. Learners use French in everyday situations while exploring travel, landscapes, cultural traditions, geography and long-distance journeys. The course also covers grammatical structures including the pronouns “y” and “en”, the gerund, indefinite pronouns, and the distinction between the passé composé and imparfait. Progress is based on class participation and self-study rather than formal tests.

This pre-intermediate course is intended for learners who have already studied French for some time. Lessons involve spoken communication, group work and role-plays, with most teaching conducted in French. The provider recommends previous study at French Level 13 or approximately 156 class hours.

- A placement test is recommended if the learner is unsure whether this level is suitable.
