French Level 18 | Evenings

About this course

The course develops French through discussions, role-plays and other spoken activities, with the teacher using French throughout lessons to strengthen comprehension and listening. Learners work on grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation alongside topics including language learning, cultural identity, food, recipes and Francophone culture. Activities also cover expressing opinions, giving advice, discussing desire and will, and using negation. Cultural material includes Francophone festivals, French cinema and literature.

Is this course right for you?

This course is intended for Intermediate (B1) learners who have already completed substantial French study. Previous study equivalent to French Level 17 or at least 204 class hours is required, and participation includes spoken group work and role-plays.

Before you go

• A coursebook based on Edito B1, Unit 4, is required. It should be purchased after the first lesson and is available from reception on the day of the second lesson.
