About this course

The course develops French for everyday communication through listening, speaking, reading and writing activities. Lessons are primarily conducted in French and use interactive formats, including group work and role-plays. Topics include work organisation, daily routines, schedules, household chores, mealtimes and everyday rules. Learners also study relevant grammar and vocabulary, including time expressions, pronominal verbs, infinitives, modal verbs and selected irregular verb patterns. Sociocultural material covers routines and living arrangements in France and Francophone countries.

Is this course right for you?

This course is intended for learners who are already studying French at Elementary level. Previous study equivalent to French Level 4 or at least 48 class hours is recommended, so it is aimed at learners developing beyond the fundamentals. Lessons involve spoken communication, group activities and role-plays, with most teaching conducted in French.
