About this course

The course develops French for everyday situations through interactive lessons conducted primarily in French. Learners practise listening, speaking, reading and writing, with group work and role-plays providing opportunities to use the language in context. Topics include food and cooking, recipes, invitations, past events, annual celebrations and culinary culture. Language work covers quantities, prepositions, object and complement pronouns, the present continuous, passé composé with pronominal verbs, and the imperfect tense.

This course is intended for learners already progressing in French at Elementary (A2) level. The provider recommends previous study at French Level 7 or approximately 84 class hours. Lessons involve spoken communication, group work and role-plays, with learners using French during class.
