About this course
The course develops French through thematic vocabulary, grammar practice and communication tasks. Learners work with everyday language covering routines, food, travel, transport, appointments and health, alongside French customs, festivals and cuisine. Lessons use speaking, listening, reading and writing exercises, with dialogues, role-play, storytelling and guided compositions. Grammar work includes present-tense conjugation, noun and adjective agreement, past and future forms, and the subjunctive. Learners also receive guidance on pronunciation, intonation and fluency while practising simulated real-world exchanges. Writing tasks include formal and informal correspondence and short narrative work.
