About this course
The course uses songs from different French-speaking countries to explore challenging French sounds, including nasal sounds, the French “r” and “u”, alongside silent letters and liaisons. Learners will take part in oral pronunciation practice, with opportunities to work in pairs and small groups and to sing complete songs if they wish. Teaching and explanations are in English, and song translations are provided where needed. The emphasis is on recognising and producing French sounds through spoken and sung examples.
