It forms part of the French Wine Scholar curriculum and introduces the subject through a guided tasting of regional examples. Tastings include Gamay from Beaujolais, aromatic and oxidative wines from Jura, and crisp mountain-influenced wines from Savoie. Discussion connects these wines with the regions’ terroir, traditions and changing approaches to winemaking.
