About this course

This Wine Scholar Guild session examines the Loire Valley’s wine regions through their history, geography and cultural influences, linking these factors to the area’s varied winemaking styles. It is delivered as a masterclass and includes a curated tasting of Loire wines, with Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, red and rosé wines, and lesser-known regional examples. The session also provides an introduction to the wider French Wine Scholar course.
