Intermediate

An intermediate course on designing, evaluating and governing repeatable generative AI workflows through demonstrations, guided exercises and practical scenarios.

About this course

The course examines how to move from individual prompts to structured, repeatable workflows using tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot and Claude, without coding. Participants work through practical scenarios and guided activities focused on improving output accuracy, tone, bias and reliability. Sessions also address accountability, human judgement and risks including misinformation, bias and over-reliance. Participants develop simple approaches for responsible AI use, including checklists, guardrails and decision points for workplace or regulated contexts.

What you'll learn

  • Design simple, repeatable workflows for practical generative AI tasks
  • Evaluate and improve AI outputs for accuracy, tone, bias and reliability
  • Apply structured checks to support quality and responsible use
  • Identify risks and situations requiring human judgement
  • Create a basic framework for responsible AI use in a relevant work or personal context

Is this course right for you?

This intermediate course is intended for learners who have completed a beginner prompt engineering course or have equivalent experience using generative AI tools. Participants are expected to take part in demonstrations, guided exercises and practical discussion, with opportunities to apply ideas to their own work or interests.

  • Prior prompt-writing experience or equivalent use of generative AI tools is expected
  • Comfort using a computer and online platforms will help participants engage with the tools
  • Bringing examples from a work or personal context is optional but recommended

Before you go
