Functional Skills English (level 2)

About this course

Participants work with articles, reports, instructions and online information, comparing texts, identifying language and organisational features, and summarising meaning. Writing activities cover emails, letters and formal reports, with attention to structure, audience, purpose, grammar, punctuation, vocabulary and proofreading. Speaking and listening practice includes presentations, discussions, responding to others and using evidence to support viewpoints. The course also introduces digital tools for creating, editing and submitting documents, alongside preparation for the Pearson Edexcel Functional Skills English Level 2 exam.
