Functional Skills English – Level 2

About this course

The course develops English for everyday and workplace situations through a combination of classroom instruction, activities and online learning materials. Learners work with different types of texts, identifying main points, details and purpose, then plan, organise and review writing for varied readers. Sessions also cover grammar, spelling and participation in formal and informal discussions. Assessment consists of separate reading and writing exams, plus a speaking and listening assessment involving presentations and discussions. Successful learners achieve a Functional Skills English Level 2 qualification.
