Fused Glass Christmas Decorations

About this course

Participants design and make festive fused-glass pieces, learning how to cut and shape glass and combine elements using full fusing or tack fusing. The course also introduces decorative techniques and inclusions such as copper, mica, bubbles and dichroic glass. Projects may include hanging decorations for trees or windows and candle holders. Teaching takes place in a small workshop group, with guidance available while participants develop their own colour and design combinations.

Is this course right for you?

This beginner-level course is explicitly open to learners without previous experience. It suits participants who want to design and make small fused-glass pieces in a small workshop setting. Learners under 16 must attend with a fee-paying adult.

Before you go

• Glass, materials and jewellery findings are included.
• Finished pieces are fused overnight and can be collected from the studio by mutual arrangement or posted out.
• Information is provided about buying tools and glass for future projects.
