About this course

The course introduces glass fusing through demonstrations of safe glass cutting, basic slumping and fusing techniques, and design approaches for glass. Learners begin with taught projects before developing their own work during the latter part of the course. Images and visual references are used to explore ideas, while individual tutorial discussions help learners review their work and clarify their next steps. Progress is considered through tutorial support and self-assessment. The class may also include a gallery visit to examine other makers’ work and different themes.
