About this course

The course introduces Italian through greetings, introductions, personal information and common situations such as checking into a hotel. Learners practise asking and answering questions, spelling names and addresses, and using numbers for ages, phone numbers, prices and room numbers. Teaching combines speaking practice with listening, pronunciation, spelling and grammar. Topics include formal and informal address, present-tense verbs, articles, prepositions and negation, alongside vocabulary for nationalities, jobs and workplaces.
